What is FlowPaths?
FlowPaths is a Jira Cloud app that reads your board's issue history and produces cycle time percentiles, a cumulative flow diagram, aging WIP, and Monte Carlo delivery forecasts. It’s read-only — it never writes back to your Jira data — and it builds its first chart from your board’s existing saved filter, with nothing to configure up front.
The problem it solves
Two questions come up in most delivery conversations: how predictable is this team, and when will this actually ship. Story points measure relative size, not elapsed time — the two only correlate loosely, and gut feel doesn’t scale past a handful of people’s memory. FlowPaths answers both from your team’s actual completed work: the real distribution of how long items took, used to state how consistent delivery has been and how confident a forecast can be.
This doesn’t remove uncertainty — it replaces a single-point guess with a probability range grounded in your own history.
